They’re primarily used for communications, meteorology, and navigation. In contrast, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites offer limited coverage and require multiple satellites for comprehensive communication. However, they boast very low latency and are utilized for communications, schools, banks, data centers, and government security purposes.

It provides an Open Network Platform for telco operators using standard APIs, resembling a Software-Defined Network for the satellite ground segment. For government and commercial users, a Closed Network Platform is available, requiring equipment from Globeband Aerospace Technologies Pte. Ltd. The LEO Satellite Network offers global coverage with both Open Network Platforms for telco operators and Closed Network Platforms for government and commercial entities.
